Dove Hunt Honors Cy's Life

Friends and family of Cy joined together yesterday to kickoff the dove hunting season in Harrells, NC. For those of you who knew Cy, Harrells was his favorite place to be. It was evident in the comments and expressions from all attendees that a love for the outdoors can be fostered through experience and fellowship. Not only did the hunt last from sunrise to sundown, but the day included a pig pickin' lunch for the crowd. Whether you're an avid hunter or simply came to catch up with loved ones, the day in Harrells was enjoyed by all. We had hunters who spent their first day in the field or shot their first dove and the excitement on their faces was hard to beat, further justifying the importance of Cy's World's mission: to promote the lifelong love of outdoors. This was the 4th Annual hunt put on by Cy's family - regular attendees were fortunate enough to spend the first year hunting by Cy's side.
